An invitation for my Melbourne based subscribers: an evening of inspiration with triple Olympian and Olympic bronze medalist Rowie Webster
Join us for this exclusive event next Wednesday 29 May.
As my readers know, many of my most poignant lessons in leadership and communication have come from sport.
In celebration of the Olympic year (there’s only two months until Paris 2024 starts!), I’m excited to let my Melbourne-based subscribers know that we’ve just confirmed an in-person event for next Wednesday 29 May, 2024: an evening of inspiration with triple Olympian and Olympic bronze medalist water polo player Rowie Webster.
Rowie will share her lessons in leadership from more than a decade of representing Australia, as a member and later captain of the Australian Women's Water Polo team.
Rowie is an inspiring and celebrated speaker, and is now on the Australian Olympic Committee Athlete Commission, the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) Athlete Committee and is an Athlete for Hope Ambassador. She is a recipient of the Generation-32 AIS Coaching Scholarship and is the current National Under 18 women's water polo coach.
Taking place between 6pm-7:45pm, the event will include a Q&A with Rowie hosted by me, the opportunity to speak personally with Rowie, and food & drinks will be provided.
You can find out more and purchase tickets here: Buy tickets – An evening of inspiration: lessons in leadership from a triple Olympian – The Lounge at Salta Properties, Level 29, 35 Collins Street (tickettailor.com)
I’d also love to know: are IRL events of interest to you if I was to explore this option in other cities?
Many thanks,
Larissa
